Day 01     Arrival San Jose
Upon arrival to Juan Santamaria International Airport, our representative will meet you to give you the warmest welcome to Costa Rica. You will be transfered to your hotel. Overnight at Quality Rel or Melia Cariari

Day 02     Transfer to San Gerardo de Dota
The gorgeous town of San Gerardo de Dota lies in one of the most beautiful regions of Costa Rica, on the rim of the Central Valley in the San Jose Province. An amazingly stunning habitat for a plethora of bird and flora species, this region is most well known for being the primary habitat for the resplendent Quetzal, Costa Rica’s most famous bird. Overnight at Trogon Lodge (breakfast included)

Day 03     Optional Activities
Guests can always join one of Trogon´s daily tours (optional & extra), lead by an in-house guide. Tour options include: Early morning bird watching tour, Hiking on Nature trails tour, Waterfall Tour, Horseback riding tour. Overnight at Trogon Lodge (breakfast included)

Day 04     Transfer to Dominical
Located on Costa Rica’s amazingly beautiful Central Pacific coastline, the small village of Dominical is a surfer’s paradise where waves can reach over 10 feet high. This village is a great place to lie back and enjoy the various activities and water sports found around here. Overnight at Villas Rio Mar or Cristal Ballena (breakfast included)

Day 05     One Day Excursion to Corcovado National Park
Depart early in the morning, taking the Costanera Highway along the Pacific Ocean to Sierpe. Next, take a comfortable ninety minute boat ride through the largest area of mangrove swamps in Central America. The mangroves are inhabited by cocodriles, snakes, four species of monkeys, and a great variety of birds. Arriving at the park, your bilingual naturalist guide will lead you on a walking tour of a pristine primary forest. The hike ends at the ranger´s station where you can enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by rich natural atmosphere. Protecting millions of acres of humid rainforest and pristine ocean, Corcovado National Park has become an international attraction since it was founded in 1975.

It is ranked “number three” among the national parks in the world, with 2% of the entire´s world biodiversity found within the park. Corcovado is home to almost 400 species of birds, 140 species of mammals and 116 species of amphibians and reptiles, plus 6.000 species of insects. Six natural ecosystems have been identified in the park, and it protects endangered species such as the jaguar, puma, cocodrile, tapir, poison dart and golden frogs and the harpy eagle. The rainforest is also home to numerous plants and insects that are extremely valuable for scientific and medical discovery. It is the premier place in Costa Rica to see the diverse wildlife that exists in the country. After an exciting and rewarding day, return to hotels. Overnight at Villas Rio Mar or Cristal Ballena (breakfast and lunch included)

Day 06     Transfer to Manuel Antonio (mid pacific)
The area of Manuel Antonio is located in the mid pacific coast of Costa Rica. It is one of the most important destinations in Costa Rica, due to the Manuel Antonio National Park, a place with a lot ob biodiversity, flora and fauna and also 3 beautiful beaches inside of the park. Overnight at Casitas Eclipse or El Parador (Breakfast Included)

Day 07     Visit to Manuel Antonio National Park
This park is among the most diverse and beautiful places in the region. Considered to be among the tiniest national parks in Costa Rica, what this park lacks in size, it makes up for in stunning natural beauty, combining gorgeous beaches with dense lush rainforests, exotic animal and bird species and exquisite coral reefs.

Home to an amazing variety of birds and wildlife, the Manuel Antonio National Park also has some of the best beaches in the entire country that not only offer wonderful water sport activities, but also are lined with striking lush green forestation. The snorkeling here is terrific, while swimming conditions on some of the beaches in the park are fantastic. The four beaches here include; the Espadilla Sur, the Playita, the Manuel Antonio, and the Escondido. Of these the Playa Manuel Antonio is the prettiest beach with silky white sand and a stunning offshore coral reef. Sloths, iguanas, peccaries, armadillos, coatimundis, and scarlet macaws are just a few of the many animals that can be seen roaming in the park. However, the Manuel Antonio National Park’s most popular residents are the different monkey species that live here. From the common White-Faced Monkeys to the rare Squirrel Monkeys, this park is also the habitat of roughly 350 bird species as well as a variety of lizards a and other insects.

One of the best trails in the Manuel Antonio National Park is the Perezoso Trail, which offers some stunning views of the park’s off shore islands, or go to the Punta Cathedral and get some magnificent vistas of the beautiful Pacific Coast. When visiting the park do hire a guide as they can be very helpful and informative, and take a trip to the small open-air natural-history museum and information center of the park. Overnight at Casitas Eclipse or El Parador (Breakfast Included)

Day 08     Day at leisure
Day free to relax, enjoy hotel facilities or take one of the optional excursions that Manuel Antonio offers: Damas Island Boat Tour, Horseback riding , Canopy Tour, Manuel Antonio Coastal Paddle, Visit to Nauyaca Waterfalls, etc . Overnight at Casitas Eclipse or El Parador (Breakfast Included)

Day 09     Transfer Manuel Antonio – San Jose
Our representative will pick you up at your hotel in order to transfer you to the International Airport, in San José. (breakfast included)
