Day 01     Arrive Paro - Thimphu
The flight into Bhutan takes you over the great Himalayas, offering the most scintillating scenery of the world's highest glacial peaks. Meet and assist on arrival and transfer to Thimphu, the modern capital of Bhutan. Evening at leisure and overnight at the hotel

Day 02     Thimphu
Full day sightseeing of Thimphu valley visiting National Library, Painting School, Traditional Medicine Institute, Memorial Chorten and Tashichhodzong. Evening at leisure and overnight at the hotel.

Day 03     Thimphu - Tongsa
After early breakfast, drive to Dochula pass (alt. 3100 m). If weather permits, one can see a range of high Himalayan peaks towards the north east - Masagang (7158 m), Tsendagang (6960 m), Terigang (7060 m), Jejegangphugang ( 7158 m), Kangphygang (7170 m), Zongaphygang (7060 m) and finally Gangkar Punsum, the highest peak in Bhutan at 7497 m. After the visit to Dochula pass drive on to Tongsa. Upon arrival check in at the hotel.

Day 04     Tongsa - Bumthang
After breakfast walk by Tongsa Dzong, built by Shabdrung in 1647 and visit the Ta Dzong (Watch tower), dedicated to Buddhist epic hero, King Gesar of Ling. Then drive on to Bumthang. Check in on arrival and after lunch, visit to Kurje Lhakhang (where the Saint Padsambhaca subdued a local demon and left his body imprint on a rock), the Jambey Lhakhang, Tamshing Monastery and Swiss Farm house. Evening at leisure.

Day 05     Bumthang - Punakha
After breakfast explore fascinating valley of Bumthang. Before arriving Punakha visit Wangdiphodrang Dzong town enroute. Upon arrival check in at the hotel and overnight at the hotel.

Day 06     Punakha - Paro
Morning visit Punakha Dxong, a massive structure built at the junction of two rivers. It was the capital of Bhutan until 1955 and still serves as the winter residence of the Monk body. After lunch proceed to Paro, enroute visiting traditional Bhutanese Farm House which offers good insight into lifestyle of local people and their culture. On arrival check in at hotel and relax.

Day 07     Paro
Full day sightseeing of Paro visiting, Ta Dzong, the National museum, the Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong). After lunch drive to Drukgyel Dzong, built in 1647 by the Shabdrung to commemorate Bhutanese victory over the Tibetan in war of 1644. Also enroute visit the Kyichu Lhakhang. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08     Depart Paro
In time transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
