Day 01 Arrive YANGON
Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 YANGON - BAGAN
Morning flight to Bagan. Highlights of our visit include many of Bagan’s distinctive pagodas. At sunset enjoy a marvelous panoramic view of the pagodas. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 BAGAN Mt.
Popa Excursion Morning drive to nearby Mt. Popa, an extinct volcano which is renowned as the home of the ‘nats’ (or spirits) and provide a scenic view of the surrounding plains. Retuirn to Bagan in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 BAGAN – MANDALAY
Amarapura & Inwa Visit the former royal capital of Amarapura and see U Bein’s Bridge, the world’s longest teakwood bridge. Then visit Inwa, another former royal capital and travel by pony cart down tree-lined paths to see old palace walls, wooden monasteries and the ‘leaning tower of Ava’. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 MANDALAY – HEHO
Pindiya Fly to Heho in the Shan state and drive to Pindiya. Visit the fascinating Pindiya caves, with their more than 8,000 Buddha images and visit a Shan umbrella making factory. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 PINDIYA – INLE LAKE
Early morning drive to Inle Lake and begin sightseeing by long tailed boat on this magical and unique shallow lake. Highlights include the boatmen with their ‘one-legged’ rowing style, the floating gardens, the ‘jumping cats’ monastery and more. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 HEHO – YANGON
Yangon Sightseeing Return flight to Yangon and afternoon sightseeing including the awe-inspiring Shedagon pagoda and the sprawling 75 year old Bogyoke market with its large collection of local handicrafts and other items.
Day 08 Depart YANGON
At leisure until departure time.
