Day 01 Arrival in Quito
Meet on arrival and transfer to Hotel Quito.
Day 02 Quito
After breakfast city tour of Quito. Day free to explore on own.
CITY TOUR & EQUATORIAL MONUMENT (5 hours)
A comprehensive city tour includes visits to residential neighborhoods at the northern end of the city. The tour will then continue through the Gran Colombia Avenue up to the Colonial City, visiting the Basilica Church, “San Juan Mirador”. Walking through the colonial streets we will then stop at the Independence Plaza, the Cathedral, the Government's Palace, and the archiepiscopal palace. Furthermore, we will visit La Compañia Church and San Francisco which was built in the XVII century, continue to the northern part of the city heading up to the “Middle of the World City” where the monument that divides the Northern Hemisphere from the Southern Hemisphere is situated. We will also visit the “Museo Intiñan”, where you will get a chance to experiment with the equatorial line theories.
Day 03 Depart Quito
In time transfer to the airport to take your onward flight.
