Day 01 Depart Canada
Your journey begins with a transPacific flight to Beijing. Move your watch a day ahead as you cross the International Dateline.
Day 02 Arrival at Beijing
Welcome to Beijing, the political and cultural centre of the world's most populous nation. You will be met by your friendly guide and transferred to the unique 4-star Grand Garden View Hotel. (D)
Day 03 Beijing
Today, you will tour Tian An Men Square, the largest public plaza in the world and the Forbidden City, where two-dozen emperors lived from the 15th to the early 20th century. It also houses the Palace Museum, which contains priceless treasures. In the afternoon, you will visit the beautiful Summer Palace enjoy a Peking Duck dinner tonight. (B/L/D)
Day 04 Beijing - Xian
On a daylong excursion, you will walk the mighty Great Wall. It is the only man-made structure visible from the moon - stretching across China for about 4,000 miles. Transfer to the airport and board a flight to Xian. Transfer to the 4-Star Royal Garden Hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 05 Xian
Visit the ancient City Wall and the Wild Goose Pagoda. The afternoon is free for you to explore the city. (B/L/D)
Day 06 Xian
Visit the spectacular sight of the tomb of emperor Qin Shi Huang guarded by 8,000 Terra Cotta warriors and horses in battle formation. Enjoy an amazing Tang Dynasty dance show. (B/L/D)
Day 07 Xian - Hangzhou
Take a morning flight to Hangzhou. Visit the Six Harmony Pagoda and Hefang Street - an ancient street where you will find many interesting carvings, paintings and coins of the Ming Dynasties. Stay at the 3-Star Lily Hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 08 Hangzhou - Suzhou
Highlights of today will be a visit to the Lingyin Temple. Later, enjoy a cup of the delicious green tea while you learn all about green tea at the famous Dragon Well Tea Plantation. Take a boat cruise on the tranquil waters of the beautiful West Lake in the afternoon. Board a coach to Suzhou in the late afternoon. Stay at the 4-Star Castle Hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 09 Suzhou
Visit the Silk Worm Factory to learn about the Silk civilization. Enjoy a Grand Canal boat cruise and visit the Master of Nets garden. (B/L/D)
Day 10 Suzhou - Shanghai
This morning, visit the Embroidery Institute. Take the coach ride to Shanghai. Rest of day is free for you to explore. Overnight at the 4-Star Best Western New Century Hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 11 Shanghai
Today visit the Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Garden, the Children's Palace and the famous Shanghai Museum. An amazing Acrobatic Show awaits you. (B/L/D)
Day 12 Depart Shanghai
