Day 01 Depart Canada
Your journey begins with your transPacific flight. Move your watch a day ahead as you cross the International Dateline.
Day 02 Arrival at Beijing
Welcome to Beijing, the political and cultural center of the world's most populous nation. You will be met and transferred to the China rated 4-Star Grand View Garden Hotel. (D)
Day 03 Beijing
Full day City Tour to Tian An Men Square, the largest public plaza in the world. Visit the Forbidden City which houses numerous priceless treasures. Two-dozen emperors lived here from the 15th to the early 20th century and also visit the beautiful Summer Palace. (B/L/D)
Day 04 Beijing
On a daylong excursion you will walk the mighty Great Wall. It is the only man-made structure visible from orbit- stretching across China for about 4000 miles. En route, you will also visit the ancient Changling Tomb; the largest and best preserved of the 13 Ming Tombs near Beijing. Walk on the Sacred Way, (Shen Dao) which means 'the road leading to Heaven', to the Imperial tombs. (B/L/D)
Day 05 Beijing
Visit Temple of Heaven, see local people doing Taiji(Tai Chi) and morning exercises. Major sights and Wang Fu Jing shopping center are within walking distance from your hotel. We also suggest that you take a walk through the interesting Xiushui Silk Market where you can enjoy super bargains. Enjoy a Hutong Tour, Peking Duck dinner, and cultural show. (B/L/D)
Day 06 Beijing - Xian
Morning flight to Xian. Arrive in Xian and transfer to the 4-Star Royal Garden Hotel. Visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Provincial History Museum. (B/L/D)
Day 07 Xian
Marvel at the Terra Cotta warriors and horses in battle formation guarding the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. Enjoy an amazing Tang Dynasty song & dance show after a Dumpling Dinner. (B/L/D)
Day 08 Xian - Shanghai
Take a morning flight to Shanghai. Welcome to Shanghai, the legendary seaport and the most populous city of the world. You will be met by your friendly guide and transferred to the 4-star Best Western New Century Hotel. Enjoy a free afternoon. (B)
Day 09 Shanghai
Today's highlights include a visit to the Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Yuan Garden, Carpet Factory and the Bund, which is located along the bank of the Huangpu River. An amazing Acrobatic show follows dinner. (B/L/D)
Day 10 Shanghai
Morning excursion to Zhujiajiao, a river-town near Shanghai. In the afternoon visit the Shanghai Museum. (B/L/D)
Day 11 Depart Shanghai
There will be some free time in the morning to finish your last minute shopping. Say goodbye to Shanghai as you board your transPacific flight home. (B)
