Day 01     Depart Canada
Your journey begins with your flight to Beijing. Set your watch a day ahead as you cross the International Dateline.

Day 02     Arrival at Beijing
Arrive in Beijing in the afternoon. You will be met by your friendly guide and transferred to the 4-star Grand View Garden Hotel.

Day 03     Beijing
Your adventure begins with a visit to Tian An Men Square, the largest public plaza in the world, and the Forbidden City, where two-dozen emperors lived from the fifteenth to the early twentieth century. You will also visit the beautiful Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven. A Peking Opera Performance follows dinner. (B/L/D)

Day 04     Beijing
On a daylong excursion, walk the mighty Great Wall. It is said to be the only man-made structure visible from orbit, stretching across China for about 4,000 miles. In the afternoon, you will visit the ancient Ming Tombs. A Peking Duck Dinner is planned. (B/L/D)

Day 05     Beijig – Xian
Today is a free day for you to explore or shop. We suggest the interesting Xiushui Silk Market, where you can enjoy super bargains. Lunch and dinner on your own at reasonably priced restaurants near by. Take a flight to Xian. Transfer to the 4-star Royal Garden Hotel for 2 nights. (B)

Day 06     Xian
Xian was an ancient capital city for 11 dynasties. Visit the Terra Cotta Warriors Museum and the City Wall. Enjoy a Dinner with Four Kinds of Dumplings and the Tang Dynasty Show. (B/L/D)

Day 07     Xian - Jinan
Today you will visit the Grand Mosque and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Transfer to the airport and fly to Jinan. Transfer to the 4-star Litian Hotel. Spend the evening to relaxing. Ask your guide about a massage or shopping. (B/L/D)

Day 08     Jinan
Jinan is best known for its hundreds of natural gushing springs and black pottery, dating back to the Neolithic times. Visit the City Square, Daming Lake and Black Tiger Spring. Enjoy a Welcome banquet in the evening. (B/L/D)

Day 09     Jinan - Mt. Tai - Qufu
After breakfast, take a scenic coach ride to Tai'an and visit China's most sacred mountain, Mt. Tai, the Emperor of Mountains. Take the coach midway up the mountain, and a cable car to the summit. After lunch, take the coach to Qufu, Confucius' hometown. Stay overnight at the traditional Queli Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 10     Qufu - Hangzhou
Tour the ancient Confucius Mansion, the magnificent Confucius Temple, and the last resting place of Confucius. After dinner, coach back to Jinan and then take an overnight train to Hangzhou. (Soft Sleeper with 4 berths to one private compartment). (B/L/D)

Day 11     Hangzhou
Arrive in the morning and transfer to the 4-star Holiday Inn to freshen up and have breakfast. Hangzhou is a romantic city with charm and tranquility. Cruise the serene waters of the West Lake, which mirror the surrounding landscape. You will also visit the Lingyin Temple, the Six-Harmony Tower and the Longjing Tea Plantation. (B/L/D)

Day 12     Hangzhou - Suzhou
Depart by morning train to Suzhou, the 'Venice of the East'. Enjoy a cruise on the Grand Canal to witness the daily life of the local people. Visit the Master of Nets Garden, a Silk Factory and the Embroidery Institute. Stay at the beautiful 4-star Castle Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 13     Suzhou - Tongli - Shanghai
Today you will take a bus ride to Tongli, a water village with a long history. The township is divided into 7 low islands linked by 49 stone bridges of different styles and ages. Depart by train to Shanghai. Transfer to the 4-star Best Western New Century Hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 14     Shanghai
Today's tour will take you to the Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Yuan Garden, the Bund and Nanjing Road. An amazing Acrobatic theatre show follows dinner. (B/L/D)

Day 15     Shanghai - Yichang
Today you will have a free morning to explore, shop or pack. Transfer to the airport and fly to Yichang. After dinner, transfer to the dock and board the 4-star Oriental Emperor or a vessel of similar class. (B/L/D)

Day 16     Three Gorges
Shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site. Later, enjoy the spectacular sights while cruising through the Xiling Gorge. Tonight, there will be a Captain's dinner and folkloric performance. (B/L/D)

Day 17     Three Gorges
Depending on river conditions, shore excursion is either along the Daning River or Shennong Stream, both of which are natural habitats of mandarin ducks and golden-furred monkeys. In the afternoon, admire breathtaking sights of the narrow cliff walls and dramatic vistas in the Wu Gorge and Qutang Gorge. (B/L/D)

Day 18     Yangtze River Cruise
In the morning, the cruise will stop at Wanxian. The highlight of today's shore excursion is a visit to Fengdu, "The Ghost City". Take an optional cable car ride to the mountain top to marvel at the legions of statue-demons and the re-creation of Hades as it existed in the minds of the ancients. Depending on water and weather conditions, shore excursion may be amended to visit Wanxian. (B/L/D)

Day 19     Chongqing
Arrive in Chongqing in the morning. Disembark. Visit the Erling Park and the City Zoo. Stay at the 4-star Holiday Inn. (B/L/D)

Day 20     Dazu Excursion
Take a coach ride to the stone carvings of Dazu. Marvel at a large number of cliffside-cut sculptures, which were first chiseled in 650AD. Overnight at 4-star Holiday Inn. (B/L/D)

Day 21     Chongqing - Hongkong
Today, you will enjoy a half-day Hong Kong Island tour. Highlights include a visit to the famous Victoria Peak with its breathtaking views of the city. Tour also includes Stanley Market, Aberdeen Fishing Village, Repulse Bay and the Financial District. (B)

Day 22     Hong kong
Today you will visit the Grand Mosque and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Transfer to the airport and fly to Jinan. Transfer to the 4-star Litian Hotel. Spend the evening to relaxing. Ask your guide about a massage or shopping. (B/L/D)

Day 23     Hong Kong
Today will be a free day to explore. Open-air markets, restaurants and Nathan Road are all short distances from the hotel. (B)

Day 24     Depart Hong Kong
There will be free time to pack or do some last minute shopping. Transfer to the airport by shuttle bus and depart on your flight homeward. (B)
